Universal Studios Singapore berdiri di kawasan Resort World Sentosa yang merupakan kawasan Integrated Resort masih baru saja dibuka secara resmi pada April tahun 2010.
Setiap
melangkahkan kaki di berbagai zona, Anda akan merasakan nuansa yang
berbeda. Universal Studios Singapura dibagi menjadi 7 zona, Madagascar,
Istana Far Far Away dari dunia Shrek adalah yang pertama di dunia, The
Lost World tempat di mana anda bisa menemukan dunia Dinosaurus dan
Waterworld, Ancient Egypt – sebuah dunia mesir kuno yang penuh mumi,
Sci-Fi – sebuah kota futuristik dan dua zona terakhir mengambil tema
kota yang terkenal di Amerika yaitu Hollywood dan New York.
2. The Paragon
Ideal untuk perancang dan barang-barang mewah, Paragon merupakan pusat
perbelanjaan dengan 200 toko kelas atas dan enam tingkat bangunan.
Terletak di Orchard
Road yang sibuk, Paragon memiliki barang-barang mewah eceran seperti
produk Miu Miu, Gucci, Alfred Dunhill dan Salvatore Ferragamo, dan
label fashion seperti Armani Exchange, Diesel, Escada, G-Star, dan Miss
Sixty yang menyebut Paragon sebagai rumah baginya.
3. Snow City
Snow City juga menyediakan program pendidikan interaktif bagi sekolah
dan anggota masyarakat, dan di sini para siswa dapat belajar mengenai
ilmu pengetahuan dalam suhu rendah dan melaksanakan berbagai eksperimen.
Atau, rayakan ulang tahun Anda di Snow City dan nikmati permainan salju
dengan pemandu pesta yang telah di sediakan!
4. Marina Bay
Marina Bay Sands adalah satu dari dua Integrated Resort di Singapura yang baru di buka para tahun 2010. Setelah Resort World Sentosa
lebih dahulu beroperasi pada awal April 2010. Akhir bulan April 2010
Marina Bay Sands baru saja mendapatkan ijin resmi untuk membuka usaha
mereka. Marina Bay Sands ini berada di area Marina Bay, bergabung
bersama ikon-ikon Singapura yang sudah lebih dahulu berdiri seperti Patung Merlion, Esplanade dan Singapore Flyer.
Casino yang berada di MBS ini menempati 4 lantai dan masing-masing
lantai diperuntukan kepada pengunjung dengan kelas yang berbeda.
5. Orchard Road
Inilah surga bagi para shopaholic. Disepanjang jalan Orchard
Road ini berdiri mall-mall megah. Segala merk fashion internasional
dijual disini. Katanya sih semua barang merk yang ngetop disini pasti
lebih murah daripada di Indonesia. Maka dari itu artis dan orang kaya
Indonesia banyak sekali yang belanja disini. Jadi jangan aneh kalau lagi
jalan disepanjang jalan Orchard ini anda akan sering bertemu dengan
orang-orang Indonesia. Mall-mall yang terkenal adalah Tangs Plaza, Takashimaya, Wisma Atriya, Lucky Plaza, dan lainnya.
6. Zouk and Around
Zouk and Around adalah tempat clubbing yang paling terkenal seantero Singapore. Musik utamanya adalah house music, tempat ini mayoritas
dikunjungi oleh anak-anak muda. Para DJ Singapore yang terkenal berbasis
disini, dimana kunjungan artis-artis mancanegarapun seperti Galliano,
Chemical Brothers, Heart dan Kylie Minogue sering manggung di sini.

Pagi ini, kami merencanakan untuk jalan mengelilingi Singapore. Pertama kami sarapan pagi di mall yaitu Lucky Plaza, kami makan nasi padang asli buatan Indonesia dan yang jual juga asli orang Indonesia. Makanan ini sangatlah enak daripada yang kita bayangkan sebelumnya. Usai sarapan pagi, kami pun berniat untuk mencari oleh-oleh untuk kami bawa pulang ke Indonesia. Akhirnya kami berpencar.Saya dengan kedua tante saya pergi ke Bugis. Di sana menjual aneka barang, dari sepatu, tas, baju, pernak-pernik ala Singapore dan masih banyak lagi. Saya berkeliling untuk mencari sepatu kesukaan saya, yaitu converse. Walaupun barang-barang yang ada di Bugis ini tidak asli namun kualitasnya pun tidak kalah bagusnya. Harganya pun sangatlah murah. Setelah saya berkeliling, saya menemukan sepatu converse, dengan model yang sangat modern yang membuat mata saya tertarik untuk memilikinya. Saya pun membeli sepatu itu. Setelah membeli sepatu, kami pun berkeliling untuk mencari pernak-pernik ala Singapore. Banyak yang kami beli, seperti pen, gantungan kunci, hiasan untuk kulkas, dll. Saya pun melirik ke arah belakang saya. Ternyata terdapat tas-tas yang cukup terkenal di kalangan teman-teman saya. Saya pun mencari model yang tidak akan sama dengan teman saya atau bisa di katakan beda dari yang lain. Harganya pun sangatlah murah daripada di Indonesia. Usai saya membeli, kami pun melanjutkan untuk mencari baju. Saya dan tante saya telah mendapatkan baju yang kami inginkan. Saya membeli baju yang modelnya sangat beda dari yang lain, dan tentu harganya lebih murah. Akhirnya kami lapar dan kami memutuskan untuk pulang. Tetapi sebelum pulang kami membeli jus buah dengan harga 2 dollar. Setelah itu kami memutuskan untuk menjumpai saudara-saudara kami di Paragon. Kami ke Paragon dengan naik MRT atau bisa di sebut dengan kereta bawah tanah.
Sesampainya di Paragon kami berniat untuk makan. Disana terdapat aneka macam makanan. Dari Korean Food, Chinese Food, Japanese Food, Indonesian Food, dll. Kami sepakat untuk membeli makanan khas Indonesia (karena porsinya banyak dan juga murah). Setelah makan, kami kembali ke apartemen untuk beristirahat dahulu.
